- My favorite feature was being able to import a bitmap to my stage...this makes my mind think of many things i would like to be able to learn and do with flash in the future...such as take pictures of my favorite places and create movies with them. Fun!
- I was having a hard time figuring out how to convert my landscape image to a bitmap...but once the instructor showed me...i went to the computer lab and had tons of fun using the trace bitmap feature with many different images until i found the perfect one for my project. I completed my project but didn't turn it in yet until today because i wanted to get better at importing, the trace bitmap feature, and resizing...so i pracvticed the last few days and when i felt comfortable...i redid my project. this was a good exercise for me.
- Making sure that i have everything organized in folders. very important...especially when you start getting tons and tons of symbols in your library. folders make everything easier and more organized.
- In this particular project...i really only questioned whether or not my ball looked 3D...i messed around with it for awhile until i felt satisfied with it. I'm learning that the more i sit myself down at the computer lab and just mess around and play...the more i'm not only becoming more comfortable with the tools but the more questions i have with what i'm going to be able to learn next to expand such projects.
- I adjusted the alpha in color effects, i also used the gradient transform tool, i messed around with the blur filter a little bit as well. I used the #d tools for my text as well to adjust it just the way i wanted it to be hovering over my alien.
- Oooooh...i love the 3D tools. hmmmm...good question. i want to create a project where everything in it has two sides to it...a surface simple aspect and then show it's intensity with it's 3D side. I look forward to creating more things with the 3D tools.
