Midterm

The one symbol that I used from a different project was a rock. But instead of using it as a rock I edited the symbol a bit and used it as a cloud.

My Frame by frame animation was the fire that plays when the 2 cars pass the finish line. My classic tween was basically just the cloud covering the sun at the end. I waned to change the background color after the cloud covered the sun but I found it too difficult so I just left it alone. My motion tween was the 2 cars that were racing to the finish line. I made them be head to head at first but then one pulls off and goes faster than the other. As for my text I made it blurry when it was coming down but after the 2 cars finished the race I took the blur effect off so it would be clear.

The drawing tools that I used were the pen tool, shape tool, and the line tool. The most difficult part for me was drawing the cars. I used the pen tool for that and at first they just looked like boxes but after messing with the curves I was able to make it look somewhat like cars. I used the line tool to create the trees and the brush for the tree trunk. I think the most difficult part of this project was just getting ideas as to what to do next. I couldn't think of anymore animation to do because I went blank. Another one of my biggest challenges was the motion editor. There is so much you can do with it that half the time I was messing with it I would just mess up with my idea so I decided to keep it simple, especially since I already struggle a lot doing the basic things with this program.
