Project 8

Sound improved my movie result because the sound that I picked was a paradise sound of the beach with birds. The project I made was about going to a paradise and the sound reflects it.

You need to make sure that the quality of the sound isn't bad so that when it plays it sounds clear. I just used the editing functions that flash provides to edit my sound.

My intentions were met in my project. I wanted to do a mask with text and a mask with an image. I wanted to have the plane flying over a different image than the background to show a different part of the island. I wanted the text to basically say something that had an impact on the project.

I think the stop at the end does improve the users experience, unfortunately I was not able to make it stop correctly. When I would use the Action script to stop it it stopped my entire movie for some reason. I had all layers locked so I don't know why It did that. Basically my sound would play and stop but my masks would not play. So I decided to just not put the stop in my movie since I could not figure it out. So this was basically the biggest challenge for me. The masks were pretty easy so that's a good thing.

My experience with masks was fun and I enjoyed it. The only thing I did not enjoy was trying to get my sound to stop. Other than that, it was a fun project.
